Anyone catch the “Dragons” program on Animal Planet last night? Mildly diverting, but what really caught my interest was when they were showing a young dragon invading an older one’s territory. The elder dragon is defeated, and the victor goes back to claim the spoils, which in this case was an in-season female. She is described as getting ready to receive “her new dragon overlord.”
Needless to say, I laughed.
And then, about 3 seconds later, my wife calls from the other room, “What did you just say?”
Oh, shit. “What did it sound like I said?”
“Something about ‘Welcoming dragon overlords.’”
“Oh. Heh heh. Nothing, dear!” :smack:
