*Dream sequence* And the winner is... Speaker!

That’s right, everybody! I’m going to be in my first Tae Kwon Do tournament on April 13, competing as a yellow belt.

My two events are going to be Point Sparring and Patterns. Once I get my pre-actions down for the Pattern, I should be able to be a mid-level competer, but not medal level :(. In Sparring, I have no hope. I love it, don’t get me wrong, but I’m just not aggressive enough. If I can get the fight to them, and take them out of the ring, then I’m set*. I hope to at least make a decent showing of my talent, and I’ll be training for the next 2 weeks!
*If they’re outside the ring, you can still score points on them, but they can’t on you until they’re back in.

This is the part where you wish me luck and maybe give me tips on better sparring.

Good luck.

Don’t get hit.

Knock 'em dead, Speaker!

er, uh, not literally, of course.

Don’t you need to have some sort of flash back to your training before you can beat somebody up?

Snatch the pebbles from my hand.
