Guin, I do not recall any kind of a wishy-washy recantation, but I must confess my recall is suspect at times. I do remember that I was engaged in a bit of give and take about this issue when he was banned, therefore stalling the argument before it reached a conclusion.

But I’m seriously thinking on changing my user name, too many don’t get the reference and I already noticed a couple of new users with very similar names. Imitation is a form of flattery, but in a board that can get very combative, it is imitation that could lead to misunderstandings.

I learn a lot from this board. From reading posts about things I may have never thought of, to asking direct questions.
I have yet to find another place where I can come and ask an HONEST question about ANYTHING and get a reliable answer, sometimes within minutes.
Trolls can be entertaining, but drag down the purpose of the SDMB. Enough of them would destroy the board.
