I love the anime series K-ON! and the music in it. So maybe I’m prejudiced. I’m also an old drummer, albeit one who hasn’t played regularly in many years. But this strikes me as an* outstanding* performance. It’s certainly more complicated than the 4/4 rock 'n roll rhythms I played back in the day. Is this as good as I think it is or is it just “good for a kid her age” good.
No expert comment on the drumming, as I’m no drummer. But WTF is the singing frog all about?

She’s a very good drummer compared to the average drummer. IMHO though she lacks finesse, a sense of dynamics, and her playing is a bit ragged in a few spots. For 13yo she’s outstanding, but no prodigy.

My younger son, who’s a drummer, said he thinks she’s good for any age. She could really change it up.
