Drywaller.

:stuck_out_tongue:
Any more?

Ok, ok, let me think. . . uh. . . uh

lather.

Did I get it right? did I win?

No.
Somebody else?

New Direction?

Not so complicated. Think southerner. Think hog. (Not swine)

I see where you’re pointing, but I can’t get there from here. The closest I can get is “Sod Buster”

What, y’all never heard of a hog waller?
Now, take out the mud…
I’m sorry. :o
I’m sure everybody knows that a drywaller is someone who hangs (installs) sheetrock.

I know Dishwalla bangs out rock but I don’t know whether it’s sheety.

And I know what a chai wallah is but the chai isn’t dry.

Arroyo.

Wadi.

mangeorge, you make me feel…weird.

Yeah.
I was sitting on my bed sorta watching tv, thinking about things, and this California lottery commercial came on. In it, a big offscreen came on and said something like “John Doe, a drywaller from Petaluma, etc, etc. etc”. More accurate version.
Naturally this made me think of a hog wallow, where swine go to cool off. Maybe in this one the mud had dried up. In the parlance of folks where I grew up, wallow is pronounced “waller”. Hence, drywaller. Makes perfect sense now, huh?
Remember “Emory the ape”. Like that. Only different.
So,
anyone else?
