Dual Monitor Setup Acting Different Today

I have my dell 19" M90 laptop (running windows professional XP) hooked up to a 24" dell monitor at work and it’s been working great until today. I logged out last night and came in this morning to find that the display settings had gone back to just one monitor. No problem, I went into the display setup and put bnack to dual monitors.

Now the probelm, I have two monitors but now there appears to be a “divide/border” between the two that the mouse will not cross over like it used to. Now if I am on the big monitor (secondary and to the right of the prinmary 19")I can only get back to the laptop by crossing the lower 2" of the screen edge. When the mouse is in the laptops monitor I can only cross over by going to the top 2" of the edge. Before I cross over where ever I wanted without even thinking. This espcially sucks when I dragging and pasting things from one screen to the other.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Right-click on your desktop

Drag one of the squares representing the monitor so it is lined up nicely next to the other one.

Where the monitor images share a common border is the only place where the mouse can move from one monitor to another.

Hope this helps

Yes, that works! Thanks!
