Dublin Dopers!

May I suggest dinner at The Gotham Cafe(my favourite!) and then drinks wherever suits you all?

We’d have to book a table at TGC, I think, unless someone has another dining suggestion.

Never been to Gotham but micilins better half has spoken well of it on several occasions. So it works for me.

I propose we meet at TGC at 7pm on Friday the 11th of April.
(That’s me, taking the bull by the horns.)

If I wind up there eating gorgeous pizza and salads all on my owny-own, it’ll be fine. cry

See you there. Looking forward to finally meeting ya.

Ditto. Though I’ve a horrible feeling I’m booked for a gig that evening.

**I’m looking forward to meeting you both as well. Hopefully, whatever ‘gig’ jjimm has on isn’t on the Friday night. I’ll still be around on the Saturday and Sunday, too.

If you’re all really bored and have nothing better to do, you can come SHOPPING with me! I know how much men love shopping!

I’ll ring the week prior to make a booking, so you have until then to change your mind.

There’s a good pub just on the corner, on South St Anne Street, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it’s called. Maybe we could meet those of you who can’t come to the dinner there?

Looks like I might be staying with some friends in Ranelagh, and AFAIR that’s an easy cab ride back from town, right?

It’s on the Saturday, so all well and good.

Keoghs?

That’s it, Keoghs! I’ve been there several times but I’d imagine the embarrassment I caused myself has been forgotten by now, it’s been a few years.

If anyone points and laughs, just go along with it, k?

BTW, next weekend is Mother’s Day, and John’ll be in Dublin, with his mom, …typical Mama’s Boy Irish lad, hey?

No, if he was typical he’d still be living with her.

Hee hee, he was, until the age 27 or so. But in fairness to him, he was still a student.

He’s actually going to Dublin to see the England/Ireland game, not to see his mum.

So, the 11th, then?
