Dugway Proving Ground locked down

The Dugway Proving Ground has been locked down to resolve an unspecified issue that we absolutely, positively don’t need to worry about. Not at all. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5imeVHU_F43JAilTso-9c7T0f-CbA?docId=ad6180e108404372b6b55615bf87cb18

Has anyone see Lou Ferrigno recently?

I keep telling people - the zombie apocalypse is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!

But nobody ever listens to me.

No. Probably just as well. I understand he’s been a bit peeved of late. And, well - you wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.

My cousins grew up on that base. They aren’t there anymore, though.

Just some misplaced nerve agent. It could happen to anybody.

M-O-O-N spells “uh oh”.

When I saw this story, “Don’t Fear the Reaper” became my new earworm. Argh!

Now all you people are making me want to watch the entire miniseries again. And I have it. So thanks a lot for that.

Upon seeing the thread title, I immediately knew what it was- someone misplaced a sensitive item. Ugh. Post lockdowns are the worst. Someone can’t find their night vision goggles and all of a sudden, 10,000 people have to cancel their weekend plans.

Still, I’m glad the official position, backed up with some Very Serious Shit, is “We do not fuck around with VX. It doesn’t matter that it was less than a milliliter. WE DO NOT FUCK AROUND WITH VX.”

Considering there are, ballpark, 100 lethal doses of VX per milliliter, assuming a density around that of water, and assuming it gets into a wound, I can see why the base authorities lost their shit over the missing vial.
