Dumb Atheisti

Help a dumb atheista out . . . What’s with the (i)'s?

[Poison]
And give me something to believe in…

:stuck_out_tongue:

Let me try one:

“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”

Eh, he waffled a bit, at least on the stone atheist part.

Sheesh, I don’t even believe in an omnibenevolent god and I can answer this one: god loves parasites too.

Which actually brings me to the most idiotic bit of tripe I’ve heard from some atheists: the harping on about one or more of omniscience, omnibenevolence, or omnipotence, and their expectation that their proofs involving those should be convincing to someone who doesn’t actually ascribe any of those traits to the divine.

I’ve heard that atheisti really like pie.

Wait a second…if this isn’t a parody thread then that means that :

and…

…would be genuine statements of the OP. Since the first one implies a young-earther, a belief so irrational that nobody could possibly believe it who has an education over a 10th grade level, and the second one is anti-Catholic…I’m gonna assume this is a parody thread. Otherwise this is ignorant and stupid. People are lying who claim the earth is millions of years old? Well I suppose since it’s billions of years old not millions, you have a point

Since a real genuine anti-Catholic, young-earther, fundie evangelical Protestant could never get away with making a post like this and not being torn a new one within 20 posts, I’m forced to conclude this is a parody thread. So, you gotta link to the original?

"Certainly there are many phenomena that are not fully understood by science yet, but that does not mean that they don’t exist. “To the rational mind, nothing is inexplicable, only unexplained.”

who said that? “that does not mean they don’t exist”

Kinda like some other theories out there, well I believe it exists.
I can testify based on my own opinion, that it is real.
I can show what some might call proof, whereas others would disagree.
No, I don’t have physical scientific evidence or technology availabe YET…but does that prove it is not possible.

hmmm…<scratches head>

And like to go car shopping with Christians.

You can’t take it with you

I heard tht when an angel gets it’s wings, an athiest spontenaously combusts.

You notice how people in Christian countries tend to be Christian? And people in Islamist countries tend to be Muslim? And people in Hindu countries tend to be Hindu? Coincidence?

Can the elaborate why you think this is stupid?

Aw, damn. I got to the bottom of the thread and I’m STILL waiting to find out if inertia is one feather short of an angel’s wing or whether this is a parody thread…grrr I hate cliffhangers…

>Dumb Atheisti

It must be a real pisser getting caught in a spelling mistake while in the midst of correcting someone elses “dumbness”

If I can be a bit self-aggrandizing in my choice, –

<sarcasm>

“Those stupid atheists! What’s this crazy delusion about teaching biology based on facts? If everyone in my community says God created the world in seven days, then that’s what our kids should be learning! None of this ‘evolution’ mumbo-jumbo, let’s put our tax dollars into teaching what we want to teach!”

You sure? I thought it was the Marquis de Laplace who proposed the possibility of there existence.

Just googled. Apparently the Marquis and John Michell both came up with the idea in 1783. Each independantly as far as we can tell.

Thus explaining the existence of ghosti.
