Is the entire Quicktime package only for Macs?
If so, I don’t understand why it’s asking me to upgrade on my Vista-based system?
Thanks

Nope, there’s a windows version, that’s installed as part of iTunes and Safari.
Note that you don’t need to install it as part of iTunes and Safari, but can instead download a standalone player.
Well, okay, but I was checking out all avenues for podcasting and QT has a section called “Broadcast” and when I went to the FAQ, it only says Mac’s and doesn’t mention Windows.
Also Dewey Finn, should I now uninstall the latest version of QT (7. something), and are the Itunes/Safari things free to install?
I’ll have a look at the standalone.
Thanks, guys

Okay, when I clicked on your link, that’s EXACTLY what I downloaded a while ago, so I guess I’m good except for the MAC for podcasting thing. It just doesn’t mention any other system as being compatible, so would that (podcasting) also be a part of the standalone?
Thanks
