Dungeons Et(Fr. "And") Dragons (Or so"I" WAS Lead toBeLive!) SPOILER!!!(MayBe)

I just want to know what the spoiler is.

This was my favorite part. The reference to 2livecrew made it.

Genius… Pure Genius.

What he said.

Spoiler in the subject header is a typo. He meant spoiled, naturally referring to his shrunken brain in a jar of stale formaldehyde.

easy… did you read it?

AARGH! Make ME sign off!

I need a beer.

I am Jack’s total confusion.

Now, now…I think everybody is being really unfair.
After all, nobody’s picked on the random French words with translations yet.

Thanks for the frog lesson there, Sparky. I know you’re Canadian (At least I thinkthat’s part of what you were babbling about at some point). And I assume you speak French. Probably better than you do English.

My only question: Aren’t Canadian schools supposed to be GOOD?

“Cleanup on aisle 5 please, cleanup on aisle 5…”

GAH?!?

The OP made -.25% sense. Please tell me you were kidding.

(I’ll bet you that utter garbage took him a long time to do)

I’m going to have to second Gadarene and Oldscratch on this. The OP needs to be looked at at least a second time to truly see (GLIMPSE!) the geniUS (US as In “uniTED sTAtes”!!) within.

You know, you could open a JPEG in notepad and get a more coherant stream of text.

Are all its posts like that?

my god.

You know, with a bit of trimming here and there, and just a dash of extra punctuation, this actually starts to make sense:

Well, here’s what I got, translated into English:

"Let me start by saying I’m not a big fan of Dungeons and Dragons. I’ve never really played the game. That being said, I went to see the new D&D movie and was disappointed. This movie was poorly executed from a technical standpoint. Special effects and animation were amaturish, and the plot, as well as the themes are derivative. Frankly, the fight scenes reminded me of the old Kung Fu movies.

SPOILER
Dragons actually play a minor part in this movie, and you only see them in a few scenes, which is something you wouldn’t expect from a movie with this title. This movie also falls into the “Pokemon trap”, by introducing strange animals as sidekicks, which have unusual powers. This movie seems to merely combine a number of movie cliches, and provides nothing new.

Turning to the acting, Jeremy Irons tried so hard (and failed, IMHO) to take on a dramatic role that he was almost comedic.

A brief note on magic. The magic used in this film was used in a similar way as “the force” was on Star Wars, which was another weakness. Magic is seen as a very powerful force, yet is used reluctantly by the characters, only in times of dire need.

If there was anything good in this movie it was the music, and I suspect that this movie was just created to spawn sequels.

I also was bothered by Marlon Wayans’ role in the film. It seems that Wayans only plays “stereotypically black” characters, and this was no exception. This character reminded me of his characters on “In Living Color”, and I found the fact that his character, the only black character in the movie, was a thief, to be offensive. This by no means is an attack on Wayans, because I feel he is a good actor, but rather on the white power structure of Hollywood, which doesn’t allow non-whites to take heroic roles in films.

This movie also has a number of holes in the plot and unexplained incidents that the viewer needs to figure out for itself. I didn’t like it."

Well, that’s my translation…I might have missed something.

The first thing I thought when I saw the OP was that Mr. Michael J. Farbish Had found the Straight Dope.
See here—> http://pw2.netcom.com/~mfarbish/

May I quote you on this? Possibly for use as a sig?

I think that Captain Amazing did an appropriately Amazing job at translating the OP.

I also think that the OP is perhaps shizophrenic and off of his or her medications. The OP looks a lot like the barely coherent rantings that were often left at the Public Library by the homeless mentally ill.
