After hitting submit, the board seemed to hang, and I hit stop, back and resubmitted. I then got a message saying that this was a duplicate post, and rejecting it. It was true!
Is this a new feature? Very cool if so.
I think sometimes it works, and sometimes we just see double.

I’ll second the second possibility, having just double-posted a message myself. In my case I just hit “stop” and then “submit” and got no warning. Guess it all depends on how you do it.
Usually when it seems to hang I open up a new tab, go back into thread, and see if the post showed up. I forgot to do this this time, which is why I ran into it.
How early does the post get added relative to the confirmation that the post occurred? Most of the time when I do check to see if the post got made it did, which leads me to believe that something is susceptible to hanging in between. However, since I post at work on a hacked up version of Mozilla running under Solaris, I never expect my experience to be similar to anyone else’s.
