A 46-year old high-level employee of the Dutch Central Bank has been fired for her after-hours work, which was that of a high-level (and highly paid) prostitute specializing in S&M services.

Now, the Dutch central bank has rules for their employees about not engaging in activities “which could harm the reputation of the bank or lead to negative publicity”… But the main thrust of their decision to fire her was…
…Well, you see, sex workers in NL are supposed to register with the chamber of commerce, get a VAT number and pay income tax, and she did nothing of the sort. A high-level bank employee is supposed to give a good example and not cheat with his or her taxes. Doing otherwise simply won’t do! That was the truly unforgivable thing.
It was a she, but yeah: that whole death and taxes, right!
I also heard mentioned that by doing this (supposedly in secret), she made herself vulnerable to black mail. Which could have been problematic as her function entailed checking and controlling commercial banks (or something like that).

Well, now that she’s been fired, she can do the SS-thing full time provided she gets the proper permits and tax requirements fulfilled. I suspect she’ll be making a better living provided she’s not bothered by the publicity.
ETA: imagine if she does prison time for the tax violation. She can bring her uniform to jail and make even more money as a Nazi Chick Behind Bars.
