DVD error code question

I have one DVD in a series that won’t load although the rest of the series loads and plays. I’ve never had this happen with my DVD player before. I tried cleaning the DVD although it’s brand new and I just removed the factory seal. The screen displays “Cannot play this disc. DVD_errlog5 0000010800E700FC000701010C00000000000000”. What does that mean?

Do you have another DVD player, like on your computer, that you can test it on?

Since this is about hardware, not software, moving from Cafe Society to IMHO, our advice forum.

We’ll likely need the exact name and model number of your DVD player to figure this out. I don’t think different players share error codes.
