I would like my DVR to record The Tonight Show for an hour past its scheduled end time, because NBC often jacks up its schedule for football.
Is it possible to do this on Sling?
I can’t answer your question directly, because I don’t know how to work a Sling or what kind of DVR you have, but if all else fails, just record the program that comes after the Tonight Show in addition to the Tonight Show.
I am a Sling TV user, although I don’t get network television like NBC on Sling, and none of the channels I DO get offer a DVR function. At best, they offer a rewind function.
But I can say that the schedule Sling uses to show you what’s currently on is just what is provided to them by the channels - ESPN, which I do get via Sling, routinely says SportsCenter is on when it’s really the end of a sporting event that has run long.
So, I doubt you can just ask it to record The Tonight Show (assuming you get DVR functionality and NBC) and it’ll do it correctly.
