Ok, this may seem like a really dumb question, but for some reason last night at work I got to thinking about this. I realize that there are many different causes and types of Dwarfism, but is there one that could be “compatable” with Acromegaly? A person that is born as a dwarf but due to a pituitary tumor grows to monstrous size? (at least relatively, a very large dwarf?)
Yes IIRC there was one person who was very small (3 foot something) until he hit puberty and then grew to over 8 feet in height. See Guinness Book of World records for greatest human growth spurt.
