I don’t seem to be able to e-mail a page to anyone. Is that reserved for moderators/administrators? It seems like it would be a good way to draw someone’s attention to the SDMB.
It’s disabled. It had a flaw that allowed troublemakers to appear to be sending messages from addresses other than their own. However, IE has, under the “File” menu pulldown, a flyout labeled “Send,” with the options, “Page by E-mail,” “Link by E-mail” and “Shortcut to Desktop.” Selecting “Link by E-mail” should do the same thing for ya.

IE = Internet Explorer. Microsoggy’s Internet Browser. All other browser’s, to the best of my knowledge, have this feature in some form or another. Sorry to be so cryptic.

Whatever makes ya happy. Some people appreciate a nod of gratitude and when I someone digs up something I’ve asked I’ll usually offer one. On the other hand, I don’t really care if a thank you is offered to me for my help.
