Ear plugs/Alarm clocks

I am a shift worker and have real difficulty sleeping due to daytime noise . Does anybody know if there is such a thing as earplugs that have a built in alarm clock?
Id miss my alarm if I wore normal plugs . I wonder if such a product exits .

Not that I know of, but I do know that you can get vibrating alarms that you place under your pillow. (Or in your pyjamas, if you prefer…)

A cheaper option, if you have a mobile phone with this function, is to set the alarm to “vibrate” and sleep with your phone tucked inside the pillowcase on the underside. I used this method when I was travelling and sleeping in youth hostels, when I had to get up early but didn’t want to wake up the rest of the dorm.

… I slept with ear plugs once… and only once… I wondered the same exact thing. about the ear plug alarms… I got the same advice.

I used to sleep with ear plugs on all the time (mortar fire and tanks are loud, even when far away). Regular alarm clock got me up in time every morning.

Earplugs are not as efficient as you imagine. I sleep with them every night. They deaden noise to a background level, but I can still hear the cat scratching on my sofa in the next room and I have never slept through any sort of alarm, clocks or otherwise.

I sleep with earplugs in almost every night and never have any trouble waking up with the alarm clock. There are 100Db alarm clocks for sale, which, with 33 Db earplugs (the highest rating I’ve found) will still be loud enough for you to wake.

I had no idea that so many people slept with ear plugs. If I did, I might never wake up.

And I also didn’t know that you could get 100-dB alarm clocks…that’s what I need!
