Easthampton school superintendent job offer abruptly rescinded

This is from 2 days ago. “Ladies and gentlemen” are literally the first words out of his mouth.

Anyway, in doing this extensive and deep-diving research, it looks like he’s been trying more often to say “Welcome everyone” or “Welcome one and all” at the top of his monologues. Good for him, I say; I do the same thing. But he has not abandoned the ol’ L&G entirely, as I hope we can all now agree.

Since you did the research, I’ll accept your point. I hadn’t remembered it, which is why I looked for it, and I didn’t hear it in my admittedly short experiment. So, apparently he does occasionally say it still, just not very much any more. I agree – good thing.
