I’m being nice, here, by going out to my garage to find a bottle, so, ya better tell us why you want to know.
Sorry, best I can do is the 16.9 oz. It’s 9 and a quarter inches.
The 1 Liter bottle (1.05 Qt) is 10 + 1/8" here in Georgia (Coke Country). This is with the cap on. Cap off is 10 + 1/16".
By my reckoning, 1L = 1.05 Qt = 33.6 Oz.
Maybe we can interpolate.
In the true Spirit of the Almighty Cecil, I got dressed and drove out to Walgreens at 10:45pm and bought a bottle of 20oz Aquafina. It is 8+5/8" tall with the cap on, and 8+9/16" with the cap off.
OK, the wife wanted Cheezy Poofs, but I got the water anyway.
Haha. It is to settle a wager. It involves a picture and some girl holding the bottle. There is a dispute about the girl’s height.
I’ve been stuck at work, and wanted to settle this bet before my chump cow-orker leaves for the weekend.
It is such a clear shot, you can easily tell the girl is between 6’1 and 6"2". Even with bottle discrepancy, he is wayyyy off. He pegged her as 5’8"-5’9". She is holding the bottle, and it is such a straight-on shot that I pasted the bottle next to her a number of times…added, divided, etc…to come up with 73 to 74 inches.
Is she perfectly on the same plane withe the bottle relative to the camera, or are we going to have to do a bit more math to fine it down a bit?
Are you sure the picture wasn’t photoshopped or the equivalent to add more length to the model’s legs? I’m told this is common in advertising today.
Spoken like a true Doper.
