Argh! I was just about to mention the Chick Fil A ads. A restaurant I used to go to had a chicken that said “Please eat more beef!” as well as another one with a cow on the menu saying “How 'bout a salad?”
Another one from Australia Ribena - little ribena berries asking us to drink them complete with anotamically correct fig leaf.
In fact, I’m satisfying Amy more than ever.
And all because I answered a few e-mail spam ads.
One of my first threads was about Charlie Tuna, he is begging to be slaughtered. Sick.
That reminds me of a comedy sketch I saw quite a while ago with the most misguided anthropomorphic mascot every: Specky the Speculum. It was a gynocological speculum with big googly eyes and a Groucho Marx moustache. Most of the sketch, IIRC, involved Specky chasing a screaming girl around a clinic.
