Eating brains

I’ve had crumbed lamb’s brains, out of curiosity. I was actually surprised at how repulsive I found them, considering I’m pretty open minded about food in general. Wasn’t able to finish.

How were they repulsive? I mean, did they just taste really bad, or was it the fact that they were BRAINS! ?

Just curious, as I’m an adventerous eater myself, but don’t want to waste the time and effort seeking out brains if they don’t actually taste good.

It was sort of a mixture of the taste and the texture. I can’t really describe the taste but they were a lot more mealy than I was expecting, and I think that’s what really put me off.

Just go to you local authentic Chinese supermarket, buy some brains and try this brain curry . If you enjoy it, then all is well, if you don’t you will probably soon lose your craving.
