Ah, phooey!

My brother gave me a $50 paypal credit at eBay for my birthday, and I thought, hm, I want some new CDs – I wonder if I can use this at half.com? Checked eBay to see what they said, and it sounded like they expected me to use it there – but when I went to half.com and checked on their gift-certifcate link, it took me to eBay – so I assumed … :smack:

Yup. After spending half an hour or so going back and forth between my Amazon wish list and half.com and filling my shopping cart, when I went to use the gift certificate, it didn’t recognize the code.

twickster, many of the items sold on half.com are cross posted as “Buy It Now” on ebay…

Good point – I was just so freaking discouraged at that point. I did have a nice nap this afternoon, though. :smiley:

Kewl – found someone with an eBay store who had a lot of the albums I was looking for, and free shipping after the first, so I went ahead and ordered three CDs. Yay! New tunes!
