eBay sellers, need a little help.

Yesterday at an estate auction, I got caught up in a bidding frenzy (well, I was the only one willing to bid on it) and won an auction for a bronze plated crab shell and claws. They can be seen here, the pic is from the auctioneers site. I am going to list them on eBay and my problem is, what category would one list such items? Art? Collectibles? Everything else? I’m not sure which category would give the best exposure for these truly one of a kind objects.

What were you drinking?

Search for similar objects on ebay, and see what category they’re in.
ETA: what elbows said.

C’mon now, how much did you pay for it?

Decorative Art?

Isn’t there also a Miscellaneous? I sold something from Misc once.

There’s an “animals” subcategory under “collectibles” that includes several bronze sculptures.

How does one get into a bidding frenzy when you’re the only bidder?

It was a lame attempt at humor. The auctioneer started bidding on it at $50 and went down from there. The lowest they were going on any lots was $5 and after they got no bids at that price, they threw in another box of stuff. Bidding opened at $10 for the 2 lots, dropped to 5 then I decided what the hell.

It was more of a case of brain freeze. The auction was outside and the temperature at the time was hovering around 35 degrees.

$5 for 2 box lots.
