Ebook - sites that sell ebooks

I have a how-to type of ebook (more like a thick info pamphlet or a cliff notes equivalent) that I’m trying to find a home for. I have looked up the obvious things on Google, but they seem to deal with do-it-yourself type of publishing where you set up your own site and do all the promotional work, etc…

What I’m looking for is a site that accepts short, concise info-ebooks just like a magazine that’s accepts articles from either staff writers or freelancers. Anybody know any sites that cater to that?

Smashwords.com will market your e-book in a variety of formats, for a cut of the sales. You have to follow their rather strict formatting policies so that their converter will work, but that means you only have to get it right once.

Do you mean other sites that do the same thing? I don’t know of any offhand.
