It’s not funny guys. I’m really embarassed (or in Spanish: Estoy muy embarazado!). Fact checking is my friend. I should really learn to do a search on the front page before opening a brand new thread.
Heh. I decided to merge all four of the Ed Bradley threads just to see what mass confusion looks like. (Pretty much, it looks like four threads merged together. It’s not as exciting as I thought it’d be.)
So, er… continue on from here!
I thought that was kind of an absolute thing, you are or you’re not. And aren’t you a guy?
Please tell me I’m being whooshed here. :dubious:
“embarazada” is the Spanish word for pregnant, not embarrassed.

Well the entire thing worked much better as its own thread (THANKS A LOT SKIP!). As it is, it’s probably not best to derail the (now) legitimate discussion.
Truly sad. I much preferred him to the dour Wallace, and especially the dyspeptic Rooney (who served a different role, but still, I sure didn’t watch 60 Min. to listen to his crankyness). Not many like him in news anymore. None, really. He’ll be missed.
I know. The “whoosh” I referred to was, “please tell me that you know this doesn’t mean I am very embarrassed.”
I drove a cab in NYC during the 1980’s, and had the pleasure of having Bradley, Wallace and Safer as passengers on separate occasions. I found Bradley to be the easiest to talk to (though Wallace was pleasant in his own way). I will miss him.
I saw Ed Bradely at a Jimmy Buffet concert. Ed came out on stage and sang backup for a song. They were good friends.
