Exactly how do you plan to put them on the crows?
I will wear them on my feets. Thankee very much!
I hope they are as good as your Possum socks!
Aaaaaaa
Ok.
I’m really getting worried.
I just saw an add for the Svengoohlie horror movie showcase tomorrow night.
Would you believe it’s the "Raven".
Watching. They’re always watching and they know everything you do.
Ooh wee ooh wee.

Who do you think wore a crow tee-shirt today? (maybe 3 days)At least I think it’s a crow. Grateful dead shirt.
Guess who saw a movie today with music by Poe and I found out they were a favorite?
Yeah. Their fault completely.
I’m just an innocent. Inundated by forces of the universe.
Damn.
“…blackbird singin’ in the dead of night!”
Does anyone know if crows “stalk” at night?

How is Ed enjoying the Shin-Dig at the Lumberyard?
They really are astonishingly intelligent (all corvids, not just crows). Magpies used to nest in the trees in front of my wife’s building. When they had eggs in the nest, they would attack people walking buy or going into the building. The government entity in the building brought in the Wildlife people, who removed the eggs. In following years, whenever a Wildlife truck pulled up to the building, they would be attacked by the birds. One guy drove his car once and wore a disguise, but the birds still recognized him and attacked.
Upthread I linked to an article about research showing that crows maintain grudges against people for as long as seventeen years. I think that’s what was happening in the case you describe.
Edgar Allan was very present today. He doesn’t seem to be out for revenge.
Son-of-a-wrek says it’s the same crow he cussed at once and it followed him here. He’s all for eliminating the bird. In a big boomish way. But I put a stop to those meanderings. Right quick.
I think Ed enjoyed the day. When all was said and done.

Yeah, they’re quite something. I read up on the scrub jays that used to visit our deck in Portland (I put out peanuts). They are very adept at watching other birds and rodents hide their food and can remember over 100 locations to rob later.
Thieving Bastard!
Curses, foiled again. As they say.
Edgar had a biggish piece of aluminum foil he was waggling around.
Now what would he need to wrap? Leftovers?
The crows on my street took a dislike to the neighbor’s dog (who freely roamed the fenced backyard) and would bug him mercilessly. Until one day he caught one and ate it on the spot! They bugged him nevermore.
Incidentally, I think “murder” is not the ideal collective. Considering how much noise they make I would call them a “caucus”. Or maybe “cawcus”.
