Edged tools that could be used as improvised weapons

I’ve got a [url=http://www.mot.be/cgi-bin/collections.cgi?c=ID-DOC&i=698&l=fr]three-pronged weeding hoe* hanging on my wall right now, that I’m in the process of giving a fake leather handle, a layer of wood stain, and some inscribed runes.

You might also try looking up a book called, simply, Weapons, by the Diagram Group. (A good library or bookstore should have it) All sorts of weapons, of all types, including many you may never have heard of, are illustrated in that one. A good read.

How about a normal shovel/spade?

So, especially useful against sword-wielding WW2-era Japanese zombies? I loved this!

Many collapsible military-style shovels have a sharpened edge, not just the Russian army.
