I made a mistake in one of the threads I opened and I could not edit it. Is the editting disabled on the fora?
That oughta make me check my grammer and spellings before posting a lot.

The “Edit” function has been disabled for members, for various reasons.
If you require your post or thread to be edited, use the “Report this post to a moderator” feature on the bottom right of your post. This will alert the mods and we will, if we deem it necessary, edit the post for you.
Arrrr, the new guy is quick, he is.
I might add that the mods will likely not edit your post for a simple typo. They will fix really garbled coding, and maybe errors that seriously confuse your meaning. They’re a busy bunch with other matters, and fixing posting mistakes is pretty low on the priority list, from what I’ve observed.
Most of us try to remember to use the preview button to check our posts before submitting.
Yea, he is, no ?

Ya, we’re very busy, for example, here:
Please welcome our newest mod, xash
p.s. What Scarlett67 says is mostly correct.
p.p.s. Notice your misspelling of “editing” in the title ? I won’t fix that.
Power-crazed already? You’ll make a damn fine Mod.

OK, xash, I’ll bite: What part of my post was incorrect? (Dang, I thought I finally had it figured out :smack: . . .)
“…and maybe errors that seriously confuse your meaning.”
We refrain from editing the contents of a post, even if it is perhaps seriously confusing. So long as it’s not damaging.
OK, I guess that’s the part I had in mind, but I didn’t state it outright. Thanks for clarifying.
