How old is she?
ENugent, she is 5 years old. She is also not potty trained. We got out concerns.
Sounds a lot like my son. He’s about to turn 11. He is potty trained now (thank god), but just yesterday I made him clean up the poop he had wiped off his hands onto the walls of the bathroom.
 Children can be pretty gross, and autism/ADHD can result in some pretty weird behaviors even in normally sensible ones. Good on you for getting it diagnosed. In my experience, the only thing harder than taking your kid through the parade of specialists and therapists to deal with these kinds of things is living with them without the support of that parade. It won’t be fun, but you’ll get through it.
It’s cow food so what you do is have a cow preprocess it into carne asada.
I am happy we are getting this going and are working on getting her (and us) help. But my brain does NOT like how long this is taking. In the meantime, I’m just constantly worried.
Last month, someone gave me some canned curry. The translation into English was pretty amusing: “Vegetarian flavour curry”. I showed a friend and he said, “I love the flavor of vegetarians; that’s why I eat beef.”
You know my Daddy always had a garden and he made us eat our greens. Salad was mandatory. Funny how I was able to grow up and be healthy, along with all my sibs and never ever heard of kale. Never.
Nor mine. In its favor, though, is the Zuppa Toscana at Olive Garden. That thing is loaded with kale, yet somehow, it’s freakin’ delicious.
I woke up early but was not able to get back to sleep because of all the damn bird noise in the trees outside my window.
“chirp chirp chirp squawk flutter BRAWK chirp tweet CHIRP chirp chirp squawk chirp brawk BRAWK”
I’m gonna get a power sprayer for my hose and soak the whole lot of miserable, disgusting, filthy, lice-ridden birds.
Actually… you might want to re-think that, most birds like getting a shower…
I not only have the external bird noise, I have three parrots inside with me. They take it personal if I continue to sleep past the time the sun hits the window. Or past the time the rest of the avian neighborhood starts the Morning [del]Chorus[/del] Shriek.
On really wonderful mornings I get a chorus line of wild birds on the outside of the sill arguing and screaming at the indoor birds, who are definitely giving as good as they’re getting.
And this is why I have ear covers rated at 30 decibels.
