Coming to you live from in front (well and a bit to the side) of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, everyone’s favorite road warrior…

That’s right, I’m really at the Lincoln Memorial. I can see 'ol Honest Abe’s face from where I stand. the one thing that strikes me about this thing is the sheer size, it’s utterly enormous. I want to break open his head and get the candy corn inside…

Well, not much to report this update, hitched most of the way here with one trucker, who was actualy headed to NYC, but i wanted to stop here and sitesee (sitelook?). I saw this payphone and thought it would be realy cool to do an update from here. I was right.

(for those of you who don’t know, I’m currently hitchhiking around the country)

Don’t forget the Jefferson Memorial. It’s much nicer, but everyone forgets to go there.

I was just thinking about you and hadn’t seen this update (before I did a search).

Are you only able to update through the phone? Have you encountered any coffee shops with computers?

My daughter is living in NYC and going to college there, and regularly gives me cause for concern, and it reminded me about you. Are you calling your mother regularly? (nag, nag)
