The great American experiment has failed. Even if Harris does magically pull this off, this country remains a failure.
They’ll deserve what they get good and hard.
Teflon Don. He could shoot someone on 5th Ave and get elected. They don’t give a fuck. Unless he is caught in bed with a male, he is invincible. Nutty shit.
And thats the baffling part. Again, my biggest shock is that J6 did not remove him forever…in my mind that means more people actually supported the insurrection than anything. And its not like the boomers who love him came back from the grave…
Ugh. Now they changed it. Looks better. Thanks.
It is so sad. I really dislike my country.
The wall votes as one. Lose one lose all.

Big dumps coming around midnight in ga and pa
Hawaii and Alaska have not closed. Nevada still voting.
Didn’t Konaki say there would be another mail ballot dump in Penn.? At midnight?
It doesn’t matter (in fact it’s even worse) if most of those votes “to be counted” are in reliably red counties.
It’s shocking to me that you don’t get this. He’s going to win by 2% in Wisconsin as well.
They didn’t realize when millions of them died of COVID. They didn’t realize it when he instructed a mob to invade the capital.
They literally don’t care - if Trump promises to give them their privileged spot back they will overlook anything else.
Hell, many Hispanic voters have switched from Biden to Trump, as well as lots of Black ones.
A little bit of hopium: Rakich of 538 has tweeted that Democrats are doing decently in early House returns. It looks like Trump is going to become President and if the Dems can keep the House and offer some legislative check that would be huge.
Frankly I don’t have the energy to closely examine a bunch of House races and I don’t think there is a Needle-like forecast for the House but if someone finds a good analysis please keep us posted.
So if Dems are doing good in Hoise races what does that mean? Was it split ticket? I.e. ill vote for the dems for house/maybe senate but I wont vote for the Dem for Pres because shes black/asian/woman?
What kills me is that Biden/Harris are seen as failures because of the damage Trump did, and Trump is going to reap the reward for what the current administration has done. By the time the economic needle swings over, we’re in a new era. And apparently NOBODY remembers the Covid chaos, or has any clue as to how that still has ripples today.
We are a nation of selfish idiots
The only thing I’m sure of is, they’ll find a way to blame Democrats.
I’m beyond gobsmacked. I was in @Smapti’s camp. Egg all over my face and massive apologies to the Board.
I can’t even begin to grapple with a second Trump term. Steven Miller, Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, Mike Flynn, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Aileen Cannon… these are only a few of the horrible people who will be in charge. Congratulations to Putin, I guess.
Or to harris
Yes, and that is offset by uncounted votes elsewhere.
Honestly? She’s a woman and a woman of color. It sucks that’s a consideration, but if that even swings the vote a couple percent that’s enough to do it.
You might think "anyone who would vote against her for that reason was already voting for Trump but while that’s mostly true, it’s not the whole picture. There are people who are not raving racists/misogynists who are still uncomfortable with the idea which might be enough for them to shift their decision towards Trump or not voting compared to if their option was a generic white guy instead.
It sucks to think like this, but the democrats should’ve ran a straight white guy like Walz to give them the best chance to beat Trump.
Again, I’m of the opinion that Democrats have gone way, way too far into identity politics. They simply cannot win with a minority of the college educated and some minorities, especially if they start losing men even more than they have in the past.
Joe Biden should have announced right after the midterms that he wasn’t running again so the Democrats could have had a real primary and found a candidate the voters liked. It would also have let them hone their messages and figure out how to try to neutralize the immigration issue.
Exactly right. Sad, in some ways, but right.
