Electrical adapters for Chile

I just wanted to doublecheck something here before I head out on my vacation to Chile.

Chile operates on a 220V system. I’m bringing two items from the US that will require electricity. Both are battery chargers. One is for my iPOD and the other is for the charger for the battery for my camera.

The iPOD charger and the battery charger both have ratings for AC that read “100-240V”.

So, am I correct to assume that as I long as I get an adapter that will allow me to plug the chargers into an outlet, I don’t need any other additional equipment, i.e, the chargers will know which voltage to use.

As far as the iPod charger, all you need is the correct “duckhead” for the adapter brick.

Available from Apple here.

As long as it gives the higher voltage on the body of the charger itself you’re right, you just need a plug adapter (lots of chargers etc are now is designed to work anywhere)

Thanks. That’s what I thought, but I thought would doublecheck with the collective wisdom of the SDMB.
