Elian has been freed!!!

God-fuckin’-damn, do you want to have an argument about semantics? Stop nitpicking about minor, unimportanat details, you self-righteous shithead! Sheesh!

Uh… that’s just wrong. I never said that it was the law that he had to stay. If you had any intelligence ridden in that paralegal head of yours, you’d see that I made mention to OTHER PEOPLE, not necessarily in this thread, that claimed that Elian should have been granted asylum. It was one of the earliest arguments shown all over the news (in my section of the country, anyway) back in February-March times. I DIDN’T say such reports/claims were right or accurate, I DIDN’T say I agreed with them, I only made mention of them to say that, yes, now we know what to do in the case of a six-year-old Cuban kid washing up on American shores, since, after all, this was hardly a typical case about immigration (if it was, it wouldn’t have been thrown in our faces for, what, six months?)

However, you were so hasty with your “save Elian!” rhetoric that you completely missed this, bonehead.
