Dark Amber…12 yrs old…burns like fire yet goes down smooth. It lingers on my taste buds like dew on the Rose. And so inexpensive!
Any other inexpensive bourbon I should try?

Elijah Craig is one of my favorites too. There are others that are very good, but most are more pricey.

Happy sippin’
Well, that’s a coincidence! I just bought my first bottle of Elijah Craig last night.
I thought it was damn fine bourbon. Almost as good as some of my other favorites (Knob Creek, Evan Williams, Maker’s Mark) and $10-$15 a bottle cheaper. Good stuff.
Give Old Forester a try. It’s a damn good bourbon that’s pretty inexpensive. For a pricier bourbon that’s also excellent, try to get your hands on some Basil Hayden’s.
