This isn’t about whether or not it’s a good thing or a bad thing to be embarrassed about the music you like. That’s a much loftier goal suitable to a much loftier thread starter (I’m goodly with Englitch…)

This is about what ‘popular’ music or artist puts you into a group you’d rather not be associated with. ‘Embarrassed’, if you will.

So far I think the Hasselhoff and Shatner fans have most of us beat hands down
