Glinda’s little school for witches needs Diana from Grimm to liven things up.
Looks like they made rifles, but a society that can make the Tin Woodsman ought to be able to make a gun. Not sure why 'til now it never occurred to them. The woman who actually fixed Jack seemed to know what the queen wanted made and refused to make it, so maybe they do know but it’s a forbidden tech?
We’ve discussed this in exquisite detail on the show’s Facebook page, and still don’t know how Ev came to have the rifles. Jane said that she was no longer under contract to Ev, but we don’t know if that was before or after the rifles were made or if she had anything to do with it.
OK, now we know why Langwidere wears masks all the time… squick!
Well, you’ve heard of someone having a porcelain complexion . . .
I was kindasorta wondering if/how they were going to reconcile with the book (in which she had a collection of brass heads instead of masks). I suppose the producers went the way they did in order to make her a more believable love interest for Jack, though why he needed one is so far a mystery.
The season(?) finale is shaping up to be the best thing since the last two episodes of The Prisoner.
Well my 12 year old daughter LOVED this show but I’m betting it doesn’t get picked up. I thought it was fun too, but I was confused about the whole Langwidere thing. She was a robot but she wore a mask to disguise how she never aged? Why not just make her look like she’s aging? Surely she needed maintenance sometimes. The mask thing seemed silly. The transgender issue with Tip/Ozma seemed rather silly as well. (In the book she is disguised as a boy at first but I don’t think she struggled with wanting to be a boy later did she?!) But the whole thing is silly I guess. Still fun to watch.
I did not care for the finale. It made the whole season look like set-up for a second season that may never appear.
No, in the books (I read every one of them last year) I do not recall Ozma ever wishing or even mentioning that she was once Tip, not after the first book she appears in.
In the books Ozma was a fairy, too.
I reallly want to know a lot of stuff. I don’t think the Wizard is dead. It looks to me that he got shot in the arm and was playing dead. I also still think it’s possible that Frank is Dorothy’s father. Also, what’s the deal with Aunt Em’s fingers? Is she West in disguise? Is Roquat really holding Jane prisoner, or is Glinda sending Lucas to trick Dorothy into coming back to Oz?

Well, this has been a pretty terrible show. I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t get picked up for another season.
