I’ve been seeing a lot of threads lately with a block under the first post that says “Advertisements” (but doesn’t have any ads in it).
ETA: I mean threads with many posts, of course.

I’m not complaining about the lack of ads. The ad space is supposed to go at the end of the page, not between the first two posts, right?
SDMB is having some major problems right now. It’s not a sure thing that it will be operating long enough for me to post this post before it goes down again. It’s been down for hours at a time this weekend, at least 3 times so far. So your observation, while possibly a symptom, probably isn’t high on the list of things to fix.
I understand. I just thought I’d point it out. It really doesn’t bother me much.
In case any members with cookies on didn’t know, there is a large and ugly advertisement bubble under every OP in every thread for those who are not logged on as members. Members are supposed to have this advertisement eliminated, I’, not too sure what is going on with you WF Tomba. Sorry.
