Alright, I need someone that knows more than just how to find an online english->greek dictionary. I want to know how to WRITE the greek word for lady or woman in LATIN LETTERS (NOT Greek). If there are several, I want the one that is most proper or respectful. Thanks for the help.
In Ancient Greek it’s: Gamma. Upsilon. Nu. Eta.
There are more than one way to transliterate it into the Roman Alphabet, but the most true-to-form one would be gune. The e is long, though, so you might want to write guné or something. It’s as respectful as woman, but you may not think so, since it’s pronounced roughly like “goo-nay”.
