I believe that you approximate it when you lose consciousness: dreamless sleep.
Being one with everything is kinda boring.

Well, it’s not boring while you do it.
It’s sort of like death. Nothing wrong with it once it happens, but from over here, it’s not a very interesting experience.

I’ve had similar luck with lysergic acid diethylamide and nitrous oxide.
I’ve had similar enlightenments–I hope you come back with a more permanent vision than I did. I remember it was profound, but that’s about it.
