Enough with being rejected!

Hey, my sister went Macalester too (Class of 2000). For whatever reason I didn’t apply to Macalester at all during my senior year of high school, even though I applied to many of the other private liberal arts schools near the TC area. My sister seemed to like it there though, the bad joke that was the “Veggie Coop” aside.

As for Duck Duck Goose’s comments about having not heard of Carleton, I think she made them in jest. At least that’s how I took them to be.

Actually, it was girl ends up with part-time security guard/home-ec major, which just strikes me as being funny in a “My cat is knawing on it’s own tail” I don’t understand it at all sort of way.

Perhaps she was frightened by the 10:1 frisbee to student ratio?

Wow! Those were my two top-choice schools and they both rejected my ass.

Man, I fucking applied to live in the fucking Veggie Co-op, and five fucking meat-eaters got in and I didn’t!
But that’s another fucking rant right there.

From what my sister thought of living there you may have been lucky. Then again that was like 5 or 6 or some amount of years ago, so some changes might have been made in that time.

What was it like then? The place is a goddamned cult now.

Home Ec major? See, she was clearly not worth your time. (Note to all Home Ec majors who may have been offended by the previous sentence: actually, I was talking about you guys, too.)

Two months till I get to give up!!! Wooohooo!
