It’s a good thing you posted it, because people do need to watch it or at least record it on its first-run night. They don’t count the ratings when people catch it on the weekend reruns.
So that’s why it wasn’t on the to do list for tonight! I thought they were already showing a rerun or something but hadn’t gotten around to checking yet.
Thanks for the heads up!
They’ve also changed “Stephen Speilberg’s Taken” to just “Taken”. I went and double checked all my season passes after I figured out why it wasn’t recording Enterpoop.
This is on DirecTv with a DirecTivo, so they did it to everyone apparently.
I’m really suprised that Tivo doesn’t automatically remap show names, or at the very least send out a message that points out “We’re renaming these shows”. They do it when they rearrange channels.
I’m not convinced TiVo was responsible – the program guide info comes from the cable companies, right? I also notice that UPN is now advertising the show as Star Trek: Enterprise, so maybe this was a change mandated by them which was implemented before it even got to TiVo’s database.
It’s not TiVo. My wife and I were looking for the rerun of “Extinction” on Saturday, searching by the usual title “Enterprise” in our Comcast video guide. We couldn’t find it, and assumed it wasn’t running. It was by pure luck that we ran across it later that night, a few minutes before it started, under the title “Star Trek: Enterprise.”
The title change was made by the show’s producers, and filtered down from there.
Well, the production company changed the official name of the show. It used to be just “Enterprise.” Said that on screen and everything. Now it’s called, and says, “Star Trek: Enterprise.”
