The Tholians!!!
in the Temporal Cold War, no less!
Web-a-licious!
Damn! I was hoping it was the Tellarites!
Still, Tholians are cool. Although they probably had to invent time travel because they were so freaking slow. An immobilizing weapon that only works on ships that are already stationary; yeah, great idea, guys. Take a seat in the back with the salt monster.
That can’t be right . . . “a heated battle in the . . . cold war.” Can you say that?
Is the World Wide Web a relic of the Tholian Web reaching back in time because of temporal fallout?
If only Douggie Adams were still alive to help the Trek writers like he did Dr. Who.
Screw the Tholians, I want the Gorn but CGI this time around.
I want Mugatu!
(No, actually, I just like saying “Mugatu.”)
“The renowned Tholian punctuality…” Well, they’re still not getting here fast enough to blast a hole through the reruns.
Would the second Mugatu be Muga2?
Muga3! Muga4! Me so Mugatu! Mugatu to you!
Well, you started it. DETPD (Don’t Encourage The Punchy Dopers)
Seriously…I was in CPR class most of the day and I must have blown too much of my own air into Dummy Annie’s phony lungs.
I need a Tri-Ox compound from Bones and decon gel for my mouth from Phlox.
At this rate, viva, you’re going to need Dummy Annie to give YOU artificial respiration! Which would be really weird.
Somebody should have probably mentioned to you that dummies don’t actually have to breathe, so you needn’t have bothered.

P.S. [whispering, ashamed of self] Am I the only one who doesn’t know what a Tholian is?
Go to your fave Trek web site and look for the The Tholian Web, it’s a TOS episode.
I’ll post a link if I can find one before someone else does
Muchas gracias for the link, NCB. I’m interested to see what the buggers look like… I imagine them as chubby little elvish things about a foot tall, with top hats and pointy green shoes. Hmm, looks like I’m in kind of a leprechaun place, about now.
Kn(hands off my Lucky Charms)ckers
Actually, they looked like bad Japanese TV pointy headed Lego creatures. The view screen showed them with lots of EM noise and distortion. Guess there was budget problems on that ep.
Anyone got old pics?
Well…that would explain why the dumb bunny never got up off the floor after hours of labor done by eighteen people on her behalf.
Are you sure she was a “dumb bunny”, viva - or might she have been a “bum dummy” instead?
Heh - almost a Spoonerism
Also - I’m deeply disappointed that the Tholians aren’t leprechauns. That is all.
