Enterprise Stratagem spoilers

Well, the Regulan blood worms are pretty cool.

Archer needs the Torture Twins from La Femme Nikita.
Or at least Michael. Hmm, they have the same hair this week…

I take it that this wasn’t a very good episode.

Evil Twins? Like the ones from GI Joe?

(or is that before people’s time?)

I think I’m the youngest Ent Doper and I grew up playing with the things. The proper question would have been “Or are you guys too old for that?”.

I’m younger, methinks. High School.

Never heard of the things.

(Goes and sits dejectedly in a corner)

Torture Twins.
The Geeky looking couple of interrogators with the dremel tool in La Femme Nikita.

Evil GI Joe Twins: WTF?

I heard you’ll grow hair on your palms and go blind if you keep that up.

So was the episode like a Mission Impossible where they try to fool the Bad Guy into believing something? And did it suck because Phlox should have just given him some sodium pentathol? (uh, sorry, sodium tri-pentathol  ). Or did it suck because the Bad Guy is also from a society where there’s lots of technology to be able to, say, simulate things, and he ignores the bleedin’ obvious?

Bamf!

Is Sydney Portier in this one?

Are Quantum and Degra chained together and running from the Xindi Man?

Any trains?

What is with Quantum’s hair?

I don’t know guys. Am I gonna do my regular play by play on this episode? For a sweeps ep, it sure looks lacking on preview. Does the preview even accurately portray what the ep really is?

Okay, I admit that I don’t like the plot synopsis. It looks stupid. Like they’re setting up ENT for failure in a sweeps months. Hopefully, I’m wrong and it’s just the flu talking. I’ll be Bach (tho I prefer Debussey) pdq, actually, 7:00pm CST with my running commentary.

He is supposed to have been incarcerated for three years.
Hey, any episode with Regulan bloodworms is good.
Any plot device that makes Mrs. Plant say. “I hate that!” is good.

I give it a B.

Having not seen this episode, i can say the best part was when Reed ripped off part of Trip’s shirt, exposing his nipple ring to the entire Xindi Council, the shock of which killed every council member and saved Earth!

Having not seen this episode, I can say the best part was when Reed ripped off part of Trip’s shirt with his teeth, but unfortunately Reed exposed his own nipple ring and not Trip’s. Reed began to do a rather lascivious Dance of the Seven Vails, making suggestive moves towards Trips’ crotch. Trip then killed Reed by ripping off Reed’s Prince Albert, and followed up with the council to keep anyone from hearing about the incident. T’Pol was so relieved to have Reed gone that, well…

You at least know who Bebop and Rocksteady are though, don’t you athelas? Don’t you?

The twins are in the new GI joe comics, IIRC, but not actively.
You do know of Transformers, correct? I remember crying when Optimus Prime died, i was like 6.

I watched that in the theatres… I had to have been five at the oldest but was probably even younger.

What about the Thundercats? It would a dozen or more Trips to make one Panthro. And a gross or so of Wesleys spliced with Naomi Wildman to equal Snarf.

Was never big on thundercats, though. He-Man, now there was a toy line i had lots of. And Battle Beasts were the best toys ever, i still collect them when i find them cheap

I have no idea what Battle Beasts are. Smurfs and Snorks going at one another?

I think viva, NCB, and **cplant ** watched the Flintstones and Jetsons while they were still first run.

Yes. I did. And don’t forget that I also saw TOS Season III in first run. I was six. Seasons I & II were on too late for us widdle kiddies. At least the 'rents weren’t totally irresponsible.

I’m surprised you turned out somewhat normal after having been exposed to TOS at such an impressionable age.

At the age of seven, I built mnemonic memory* circuits for my tricorder out of stone knives and bear skins.

*duh, talk about needless, repetative redundancy.
