Reregister as I<3UPN and start fighting with your other persona, then submit questions as I<3UPN. After you get credit, I<3UPN must immediatly viciously attack UPN, only to be defended by your next persona, IEnjoyUPNMuchly.
You sure those questions weren’t also submitted by somebody else? The one about Mr. Roddenberry sounds like a really obvious question to ask.
Well, I thought about that, too. But, in a previous correspondence with them, they said that first submission of a similar Q was the one that gets credited.
I prefer to just think that they’re bastards. Let me have this one thing, man, just this one small thing…
When is our Spock smiley coming back?
Also, in re obvious Qs, look at some of the previous chats and note how few obvious Qs there are, and how much fluff there is.
Meh, I’ll just stop caring, it’s easier that way.
Or maybe I’ll do what Tars suggests.
I agree with those who said that the alien bug juice brainwashing was way too obvious.
I disagree with those who liked the MACOs and their role in the mutiny (and the idea that they would have sided with the captain). The Major has been established as a very “by-the-book” sort of guy. Regulations state that Phlox can relieve the captain if he refuses treatment. That’s all there is to it. It’s not as if they would have to enlist him in a conspiracy.
Can you believe there are actually this many MACOs on board? And that someone has time to count them all?
I thought only 8 of the crew had elected to remain on Earth. Where did they get extra room for all these soldiers? They must be packed in and orgifying in a dark corner…
What a shame. Shame, shame, shame! This could have been one of the best episodes ever: They set things up with the obvious alien slime. Then the Captain starts giving decent orders and acting like a human being, while the rest of the crew questions his sanity and / or orders. Trip suggests some people - probably meaning himself - would like to torch the hatchery. T’Pol steps out of line and is relieved of duty.
I really thought they’d do the gutsy move and let the Captain save some innocent babies out of his own volition, but after the crew started the mutiny the last traces of doubt that they’d go the obvious route were dispelled. I mean, it would have been very gutsy to remove half the regular cast as a result of the mutiny at that point, so the Captain had to be “mad”. sigh Too bad they wasted a potentially great episode
Here’s hoping they don’t end the season with the expected “See, we had to defeat those evil, fanatical Xindi! After all, the safety of our own planet was at stake! Stupid left-wing Vulcans, we told them right from the start that the Xindi possessed that Weapon of Mass Destruction.”
Aes, I sent your tape this morning. Steven Culp (Hayes) turned up in his recurring roles on ER and JAG as well as on ENT. And Brent Spiner was on Friends (wow, he’s gone gray) and Ethan Phillips was on JAG.
Data was on Friends? Cool! I love it when my favorite shows interacyt, even in stupid and mneaningless ways.
By the way, I’m toatally sloshed tonight, so ignore any typos in this post. I just got back from a poker game (and I won almost a 100% back. Whoo) and I think I drank at least a dozen cocktails including some really **storong[/] tequila sunrises. Good stuff.
Sorry if I sound like cplant.
WTF is a **cplant? Some kind of organic BC powder you take for a hangover?
Are you propositioning me? I may’ve been a bit sloshed but I wasn’t wasted… it would have taken a lot more tequila to’ve made me consider that.
By the by…
SAVE ENTERPRISE!
Thanks to Aeser and Vivi for yer support
Buck up, man!
Get a grip!
Ew. If I didn’t want to do that last night when toasted, why would I do it now when totally sober?
'Ja notice that Trip calls Archer “Captain” most of the time now instead of “Cap’n” like he used to? Very telling. Their alleged friendship seemed to surface again in this ep., but I wonder how long that will last.
Hoshi’s new movie is opening soon in San Diego, she’s like a ghost or something, and Deanna Troi is in it also. Just FYI
Hoshi? Movie? If you’re pulling my leg, I’ll get you after I’m finished with Phlox, Mayweather, and Archer.
Actually, I should anyway… you’re competition.
it’s Spectre or something like that. Park and Sirtis are supposed to be at the San Diego premere. if it was in SF, i’d be in line now, but no.
Appears to be legit.
Great. Now Aes and Tars will get banned from their local movie theater, too. Guys, wasn’t the restraining order from Paramount enough?
Hey, Dean Haglund (Langley, of the Lone Gunmen) is in it too. One cool geek.
