Is it just me or do they remind you of the Founders from DS9?

Mmmmm…interesting thought. We do know from First Contact that the Borg exist as early as the mid 21st century, but we never did get to see them.

Lost in the middle of one of our ep threads is a mini arc discussing how they look like Alice Krieg meets Odo and have bastard mutant kids.
I hope they bring back the grand kid’s NX. A hint from one of my sources points to several mini arcs next season, with one of them being set up in this last few run of eps from this arc. I’m guessing either SBs or grand kids. Or maybe the unfortunate pirated SOBs.
I kept thinking of the Founders too but the Borg is a better fit and if they actually made them Borg, it’d also make a weird sort of sense. I like that idea.
Borgs that have reached the perfection they wanted and travel back to destroy the ever more powerful growing Federation?

Although, the Borg aren’t transdimensional…yet.
