Entertainers on steroids? Why? And who cares?
And yes, I know it’s a joke article, and I probably should have written "Celebs who are rumored to be on 'roids. It’s late, and I spent most of the evening shovelling snow.
It’s a joke site. I’m not sure they’re wrong.
The idea that any of these clowns could be considered a “role model” is hilarious…

[Teri Garr]
“Roll, roll, roll in ze hay…”
[/Teri Garr]

Maybe it’s that kind.
Ever seen 300?

…just sayin’
They airbrushed most of those abs for comic-book effect.

I was considering the same joke. You’ll find none of those performers on my iPod. Also, popular ≠ good.

The only thing that annoys me is when obvious steroid use is denied. It feeds the lie that it is possible to look like Arnold if you simply eat right and exercise. It requires copious amounts of gear and genetics.
Even Arnold admits you can’t look like he did in his Mr. Universe days without them.

Anyhow - given the appearance-driven nature of acting it does not surprise me to find actors using steroids to achieve a certain appearance.

For musicians - there IS a role for steroids in the treatment of vocal cord inflammation, but those are not anabolic (muscle-building) steroids. I could, however, see the two sorts being confused by the media and/or general public.

There is also the issue of human growth hormone (HGH) which has been touted as a fountain of youth by the woo-woo crowd. I suspect the women involved in this scandal may have been taking that one instead of the muscle-building ones, but hey, you never know these days.

If proven true, will they have to give back any of their gold records?
No, but their sales totals will be marked with an asterisk.
Here’s an interesting link about celebs on 'roids. Some of them are even white. I mean, they don’t come much wider than Carrot-Top.
Wider? Has he put on a lot of weight recently?

Dude, look at the pics! He looks like he lives on a diet of protein powder and dead hecklers.

Oh, i know. I was only half serious about that but it’s a popular opinion on another board I frequent that pretty much everyone was on something. Not that they have any real knowledge on anything.

But if you have 3 months to gain 30lbs with that much money on the line, is it any real shock? I just wish people were more open about it, that’s all.

Oh, sure. Look at the pics yourself. That’s special effects, or photoshop. The bone structure doesn’t match up. If he really looked like that, we’d have to call him Turnip Top. I’m not denying he eats hecklers, though.

That’s bulkier, wider would be more along the lines of Louie Anderson.

What’s even scarier is his face. Has he had some crazy plastic surgery done?

What are you specifically saying is photoshopped? He really is that big. Now whether they added some vascularity, that’s one thing, but he really is jacked.

Note: the interview is pretty boring, but you don’t have to watch it long to get an idea of his physique. He actually has a Barry Bonds steroid joke in the video clip.
