Sometimes you come across something that just needs a few cold ones to properly enjoy it.
Case in point-most action movies. The Rundown, for example, was good, but needed some help. Another is the game Saints Row: The Third. What are your examples?
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I can’t go into a baseball park without buying beer. Just. Can’t. Not. Buy. Beer. I have no choice.
Well, hockey games. Duh.
Soccer, though peyote would be better.
Sitting around a campfire.
A ZZ Top concert.
Any sports on TV. The slower the game and/or more commercials they put in, the more it calls for beer.
An extra-inning baseball game with a lot of pitching changes guarantees a blood alcohol limit of at least .20
I knew a band who would play in bars. Their style of music (jazz/funk/other types of music mixed together) went well with beer.
The internet.
Is this a trick question? Or did you mean to ask “what entertainment is better without beer?”

Oh, also while eating a really good burger. They (literally) go hand in hand.
Texas river tubing. Pointless without a cooler full of beer.
Picnics in the park. Frisbee-throwing, a little softball.
Restaurant pizza and a pitcher.
Fourth of July fireworks.
Jamming with friends.
(I like porch-sitting and tubing.)
This is actually perfect (I haven’t done it in Texas, but panhandle of Florida).
Perfect because you can drink beer, then drop your lower self through the tube to pee. No need to leave the social environment. No one’s going to come up with a more harmonious scenario than this. Tube. Drink. Pee. Tube. Drink. Pee.

Porch sit’n chatting with neighbors/people watching.
Yard work. (Hey, sharp high powered objects and alcohol are always a good mix.)
Washing my truck.
Pool side/ Hot tub.
BBQ.
Boating. Oh, yes.
Definitely wet t-shirt contests.
