How do so many of these restaurants think they can pull off such huge menus? A really big menu is harder to price, confuses customers with too many choices, wastes money by having to stock so many ingredients, and dilutes quality and consistency by having dishes the cook seldom prepares.
One of the most common changes Ramsay makes is to trim down the menu, and focus on the restaurant’s specialty.
Because they think they’ll draw more customers if they can be everything to everybody, which is basically impossible, unless they’re an all-you-can-eat-buffet, and don’t even get me started on them.

Sorry guys. But I did post earlier in the thread that I felt there was absolutely no way that someone as incompetent at making savory dishes as Amy was could have possibly made those awesome desserts.
I’m surprised that they haven’t taken the obvious next step of suing the show for damages. It would be futile, of course, but seems in line with how clueless they’ve been so far.
