I love this idea! LadyHawke was one of my favorite movies of all time as a kid. I rewatched it recently and it still held up, but yeah, that music was really bad and completely inappropriate for the medieval film setting.
The Final Countdown movie I still love but I’ve always wanted to see the ending they promised but we never got where the modern US fleet actually attacks the Japanese Pearl Harbor raiding force and completely destroys it
The last one was just as bad. Adrian Paul’s looks as a eternally youthful immortal had held up sufficiently, but Peter Wingfield’s most certainly didn’t.
That would have blown its budget 10 times over. Some other fictional works have worked with that tho, and often it has an Unintended Consequences outcome; in one Jimmy Doolittle has his B-25’s aggressively dive on the Japanese fleet and release their bombs at very low altitudes, but because Pearl Harbor wasn’t never damaged the Americans never got sufficiently pissed off and somehow lose the war. Nevermind that Kido Butai would then be in total shambles and the Japanese Imperial Navy no longer a threat.
All the Friday the 13th movies which don’t star Kane Hodder (except the original) should be remade so that he plays Jason. If I can only pick one, it would be Freddy vs. Jason.
Friday the 13th VII should have one small change. Dr. Crews, the character played by Terry Kiser, should have a mustache so that he looks more like Bernie from Weekend at Bernie’s.
